February!! Stuff!!!

What a month!
Not only has it been the coldest ever February in Toronto, but all sorts of STUFF has been happening to all of the tenants where I live.

Started off with the heating boiler busting.  It took over 24 hours to get it fixed, at last!  And the overnight temperature was -20 C., plus a windchill!  I stayed up most of the night, so that I could safely keep my space heater going.

Then, a week later, we get told that the house is up for sale!  Nerves from everyone.  We are all hoping that it either won't sell at all, or that no family will buy it.  A family could legally kick us all out, to use it for themselves.
The tenant here the shortest time has been here 8 years!  The one here the longest?  Over 30 years!  I have been here 15.
I have applied for Toronto Community Housing, and since I had done so before I found this place, I am still on the list.
I'm picky about where I live, so it could still be years!  This place is cheaper than others, so I can't move anywhere but TCH places.

To top off this 'wonder filled' month, the city watermain burst.  No water for hours yesterday.

So that has been my February!  Cold; no heat; house for sale; and then no water!  

Hurry up and get here, March! You can't be worse (I hope)...
