Tarene the Terrific Kitten Played With the Computer!

Tarene the Terrific Kitten has really done a number on my computer!!!
She decided to sit on it, after bouncing on it!  I am saving a MovieMaker video file.  It's taking HOURS, so I put the computer aside.  
I heard a loud 'DING!', looked, and there was Tarene, settling down for a nap on the keyboard!
Now, I have uncountable Internet Explorer tabs to clear!!!  And, they all seem to be stuck on permanently!!!  While my video is clunking along, with a percent every 10 minutes...
I can't turn off  to reboot, because it will stop the video saving!
AAAACKKK!!!
