Well, I have sent raw DNA data to several DNA sites. They don't agree on a thing!

I may have to conclude that I am part yak.

CRI Genetics-an OK response

I decided to phone CRI Genetics, instead of emailing them, or doing a live online chat, about my strange DNA results from them.

The man kept on arguing that those were my DNA results, and they HAD to be right. Over and over. And I kept on pointing out that they HAD to be wrong, based on extensive family research, and the fact that an unknown YouTuber had almost the same results as I got. Fishy.

Finally, after I happened to mention that I blogged, the guy gave up, and said that they would look at my DNA again, for no extra charges.

So, here's hoping that I get believable DNA results the second time!

The large amount of Italian: 14% was what really threw me, actually. Certainly no records of Italians in the family tree, and that isn't anything people would feel a need to hide.

Wish me luck on my next DNA results, which should take 3-4 weeks. Which is how long the first one should have taken.
