Boogie Boards I have loved and lost...

Because I write lots daily, I have been wanting one of those Boogie Board e-writers.  I may even be sort of obsessed about getting one.

They don't save anything (at least the ones that I can semi-afford don't), but that isn't the point.

I want one for scribbling down my silly thoughts as I wind down before bed.  Also, for experimental drawings.  I love to draw horses, but I see so many paintings of horses on Facebook that are vastly superior to mine--more lifelike, and with more life in them--that I know that I need to practice.

I could just delete all of my horse mistakes, and other drawing woes. Then, nobody else would see them!

If I happened to do a very good sketch, I could always scan or photograph it, after all

I keep on almost getting one, though!  So frustrating!

I saw them on sale online at Indigo.  I had almost enough points for  a $20.00 e-gift card through my surveys.  Finally, I got enough!

I looked, and they were gone in the online store.  I can't use e-gift money in a regular Chapters/Indigo bookstore.

One night, I decided to just daydream/look.  There was one left online after all!  I ordered it.

Days later, I got an email, saying that they didn't have it after all. I had to wait for the Boxing Week sales, then, I assumed.

Today, though, there appeared a listing on FreeCycle!  A free Boogie Board!!!

I quickly applied...was told that the listing had been removed.  Looked further down the page, and there it was...listed as "Taken".

And so, my Sad Saga of Lost Boogie Board Opportunities continues...
