Video Woes...AGAIN!!!!

I have been having horrible problems with my Lightworks video editor again!  It kept on crashing, and I found that it suddenly became an "Incompatible Program"!
I asked what to do from Windows Help.  They said to uninstall it, an then install it again.  Did that. 
Still didn't work.  I then uninstalled it, and deleted the installer, even.  
Then, I downloaded it again.  It still crashed!!!

So, I am now trying the Sony Vegas 13 video editor.  It has a nice matching thing, to make your various videos from different cameras look the same.  Before, I couldn't get it to download my videos into my computer.  
I put everything into it.  Went in OK.  (Phew!)
Then, I went to save the raw files, and they had a thing to get it to go straight into video.  I punched that button!!!
It seems like the long version IS now able to play!!!

So...I now hope that I can figure out how to edit on this thing, and have everything ready for November 19th's Nik Beat Memorial and Hank Benefit.
Wish me luck!!!  I have over an hour of footage to go into 4 minutes!
