TV

I am now hoping that TVO  (TV Ontario)  likes my cartoon of "Fluffy and the Refrigerator".  I told them about my book, and how I drew a cartoon from it.  They actually got back to me!  With the name of their head lady at TVOKids!  I got to Stage Two!!!  
Now is the time to be REALLY NERVOUS!  I got to Stage Two at The Globe and Mail.  I got to Stage Two (much to my astonishment) at Dragons Den, too!  Yes, Dragons Den DID email me, right after I had given up!
Neither one went on, though.  So.  
More nerves about TVOKids!
Will I get a cartoon series on their channel?  Will their website mention my book???
Good thing that I don't bite my fingernails!  I'd have none left!

I am SORT OF learning the Sony Vegas Pro video editor.  It seems, though, to make the sound on my videos very choppy.  I have NO idea of what to do about the problem.  And, since it only goes into my computer as a Sony project, I don't know if my videos from it will play ok, or not!

So, all of you who were impatiently waiting for my multi-camera edits, and Fancy Stuff will have to wait a bit longer!  I will be mostly using my better camera, and putting my videos out from Movie Maker, as before.  

I did one of Nik Beat on my Toshiba editor.  Just added a nice bright green title, for St. Patrick's Day, and uploaded it to YouTube!  With my little tripod, no stabilizing was needed!

Trouble With Converts

My video converter suddenly stopped working!!!
It worked GREAT just yesterday, and I edited a cute little video of Tarene the Terrific kitten, and put it onto her Facebook page.
Today, though, it not only took lots longer to convert things, but nothing played, when I went to look at the videos!
Lightworks kept saying "Failed" in red letters, and that not all of the video was recoverable!
I tried importing an MP4 into Lightworks, and poor Nik Beat sounded like Donald Duck when I played it there!  Who KNOWS how it would come out when edited!!!

The Toronto Food Bank

Today, I want to make a few remarks about The Toronto Food Bank, as a single person using it.

I have found that, as a single person, that IF any healthy food is available, that single people don't get that food.  Families get any that happens to come in.  This gets worse for me as I age, and my digestion does, too!  I assume that there just aren't many healthy choices being donated!

People Out There, donating to Food Banks!!!  This is for YOU!  
Poor people actually often CAN COOK!  We don't ONLY cook Kraft Dinners and we DO eat vegetables and even FRUIT!  
We like whole wheat bread, too!  Some of us EVEN know how to cook brown rice!

Please help the users of the Food Banks be healthy, and not get overweight from white pasta and white rice and nothing else to eat, other than cookies and pretzels and chips!  Those things have no nutritive value, and leave us feeling hungry, and eating even more!
